Texas A&M has landed its second wide receiver for the 2016 recruiting class with the pledge of Quartney Davis. After impressing at A&M’s skills camp last week, Davis earned an offer from Aggie wide receiver coach Aaron Moorehead. Today, the 3-star prospect out of Houston has verbally committed to Texas A&M.
Quartney Davis is 6’2” 181lbs and boasts a sub 4.4 second 40. He held offers from Arkansas, LSU, Oklahoma St, Texas Tech, and TCU among others – 24 total FBS offers around the country. He is Texas A&M’s 14th commitment for 2016 and the 6th in just ten days.
