A few takeaways:

  • The Aggies are deepest at RB, WR, and DL. They lack depth at QB, LB, and S. Much of this will change when the rest of the 2015 recruiting class arrives on campus.
  • Injuries have plagued the linebacking corps this spring. Early enrollees Claude George and Richard Moore are taking first team snaps as a result.
  • True freshman Christian Kirk appears as polished as advertised and is working with the first team.
  • Possibly the biggest position battle this spring centers around CB and who will take over the vacancy left by Deshazor Everett. Both Nick Harvey and Noel Ellis are the frontrunners.
