SEC Power Rankings: Week 2

Week 2 is in the books and the SEC took care of all their scheduled creampuffs. There were a few constants with Daniel and Kyle’s top 5 remaining unchanged. Also, Vanderbilt is still awful.

  • This week, we will find out a whole lot about Georgia as they travel to South Carolina. While they are definitely the favorite to win, they have an abysmal 0-4 record over the past 4 trips to Columbia.
  • Tennessee continued to impress with a dominate win over Arkansas St. They travel to Oklahoma this week for a rare inter-conference matchup between the SEC and the Big12.
  • Florida finally got to play and scored nearly twice as many points as any single game last season. With their salty defense and finally a pulse on offense, they may surprise some people in the East.
  • South Carolina continued to struggle against a very good East Carolina offense. They survived 33-23 moving to 1-1 on the season and entering a critical East division matchup against frontrunner Georgia.
