The Wake of Kyler’s Announcement

ImageFollowing Kyler’s commitment, Aggie momentum could be reaching unprecedented levels. Murray alluded to several prospects waiting to see if he chose the Aggies before they commit. The young Murray then made a particular comment that should thrill Aggies for what is to come.

I’ll be on the phone with my boy Christian Kirk for sure. Damarkus Lodge, Malik Jefferson, Kemah Siverand and I got to work on some other dudes.” He finally included, “I could see more jumping on real soon.

It seems that is just the case. In less than 24 hours three top Aggie prospects have announced their commitment date. The first is set for today at 2:50pm at Cy Ridge High School in Houston. Kemah Siverand, a consensus 4-star wide receiver, is expected to choose the Aggies over Texas, Ohio State, and Texas Tech. In addition, both DaMarkus Lodge and Richard Moore from Cedar Hill have picked July 1st as their announcement date. Lodge is a 5-star wide receiver that has drawn interest nationally and is down to Baylor, LSU, and A&M. Richard Moore is a 3-star linebacker that is choosing in between Baylor and A&M. If the Cedar Hill products want to continue to be teammates in college, the Aggies are sitting very good to land both players.

Landing DaMarkus Lodge would be especially huge and would give the Aggies 3 out of their top 5 targets.Image

All five players are from Texas and all five have earned the coveted 5-star ranking. Tacking on WR Christian Kirk out of Arizona could give the Aggies six 5-star recruits in 2015. Coach Sumlin is once again crushing it on the recruiting trail. He is securing the top talent in the state of Texas and is positioning the Aggies for sustained future success.
