Coach Sumlin held his 3rd annual Friday Night Lights last weekend. Several top recruits in Texas and Louisiana were there to take in the scrimmage. If you haven’t seen highlights yet, click here. Kyle Allen looks great and could be poised to take the lead in A&M’s QB battle. In all Coach Sumlin was very pleased with the feedback and energy from recruits. Some of the prospects there already held A&M offers and are nearing a decision. However, a few select individuals picked up their first offer from A&M on Friday and one picked up an offer today.
CB Jaylon Lane – a 3-star prospect out of Nacogdoches, Lane is very high on A&M. He is 6’1” 181 lbs. and has offers from Oklahoma, Ohio St, LSU, and now A&M. He is one of the fastest rising prospects and should see his ranking rise to 4 stars before he inks his letter of intent.
LB Landis Durham – another 3-star prospect, Durham is an inside linebacker from Plano East. He checks in at 6’3” 228 lbs. and runs a 4.65 40. TCU offered him early but A&M’s offer could be a game changer. Look for A&M to take the lead in this recruiting battle and win out in the end.
LB Richard Moore – the 3-star prospect is from Cedar Hill and plays outside linebacker. He is 6’3” 195 lbs. and is the 23rd best prospect at his position. He holds offers from Texas Tech, Nebraska, Oklahoma St., TCU, and Baylor. Expect this recruiting battle to come down between Baylor and A&M.
DT Breiden Fehoko – the 4-star prospect is all the way from Honolulu, Hawaii and was offered today. He is 6’3” 290 lbs. and holds offers from Alabama, California, Oklahoma, Clemson, and now A&M. Upon receiving the offer he tweeted the following.
Shout out to current 2015 Aggie commit Jay Bradford. He competed in the Texas Relays this past weekend and won the men’s long jump (24-1.5) and was third in the men’s 100m race (10.66). Bradford is an elite running back and will be a name Aggies here often in the future.
